FAQ

Is there a tuition or book fee to attend Charlotte Choice Charter (CCC)?

No. CCC is a public charter school. There are no fees or tuition for attending.

Are there any costs associated with CCC?

While there are no tuition or book fees, CCC is a uniform school. Parents do have to purchase uniforms from the required providers. The providers for the 18-19 school year have not been selected as of this time. There is also a charge if your child eats a hot lunch from our cafeteria.

Does CCC offer transportation?

Yes! We do offer a cluster bus stop system. For more information on transportation, please select “Students” and then “Transportation” from our website.

Does CCC participate in a free or reduced breakfast and lunch program?

Yes. Please select “Students” and then “School Meals” from our website.

Does CCC offer an aftercare program?

No, at this time CCC does not offer an on-site aftercare program. We do offer bus transportation to several local childcare providers.

What time does the school day begin and end?

For the 17-18 school year, instruction begins at 8:05 a.m. We ask that all students arrive no later than 7:55 a.m. The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. and we begin dismissing students at 3:05 p.m. Breakfast starts being served at 7:30 a.m.

Does CCC have the same calendar as Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools?

No, but some of our dates are similar. One of the benefits offered to charter schools is being able to create your own calendar. While there are many similarities, some holidays and early release days do differ. We encourage all parents to refer to our 17-18 school calendar (selecting “Academics” and then “2017-2018 Calendar”).
