CCC is committed to transforming scholars through the digital integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics, which maximizes individual potential and ensures students are well-equipped to meet global challenges through innovation, collaboration and creative problem-solving.
With the use of the STEAM model, teachers at CCC are able to provide students with the highest level of instruction designed to meet the needs of the 21st Century Learner.
May Math Blitz:
This year, CCC developed additional instruction and learning opportunities for scholars and parents, including May Math Blitz. May Math Blitz was designed as an opportunity to provide scholars with additional instruction on each Saturday during the month of May in preparation for EOG (end of grade) testing. Additionally, parents were invited to attend the sessions and also learn concepts, tools, and techniques to help their students study math and practice their skills at home. Overall, May Math Blitz was a wonderful success and a testament to the importance of parents, teachers, and students working together to excel and achieve at school and at home.
STEAM & Robotics:
CCC recently received a matching grant for the YouthTouch Technology Integration package for elementary students. YouthTouch offers creative learning tools, designed to complement existing curriculum and support common core standards.
